Back on September 17th 2006, Coral Stars launched as a small online shop selling my handmade creations and hand-selected vintage. The idea had stemmed from the discovery of a similar diy e-shop and the thought ‘hey, I can do that!’

Since then, the site has undergone a number of changes, but I’m still at the helm! Most recently, the main focus has been developing the site as a blog - with a small etsy shop on the side selling those same handmade creations & hand-selected vintage.

Blogging

After blogging for a year under the identity of Fashion Dummy, I decided to make a fresh start on this website; moving away from purely fashion based posts, toward a mixture of art, craft and style. The blog mainly documents my thoughts, observations, inspirations and ideas.

I like to keep the blog fairly open, so your input is welcomed! Blogging provides an excellent platform for instantaneous communication with all you lovely folks. I’m developing ways for everyone to be more involved with the website, but one of the simplest methods is commenting.

Ethos

At Coral Stars, we believe that style is in everyone. We like to be creative, inventive and most importantly, always true to ourselves. Fashion is one thing, but we prefer to focus on our own ideas and trends because ultimately, our own intuition is probably better! “Create. Discover. Inspire.” is our current motto, relating to our viewpoint on style, craft and everything in between.
