Well, as I said, I’m starting a new blog. I’ve no idea why I feel it’s so necessary (maybe idiocy?) but anyway. I’ve always found the hardest part to be selecting a name for a blog. Given that one of the reasons I’m stopping here is that I feel outgrown from the name (which is a pathetic reason, but hey, being cutesy isn’t really my cup of tea atm) it’s been especially hard to think of an appropriate name. I contemplated sucking it up and just using my own name on some kind of portfolio-come-blog site, but I don’t think I’m quite ready to define myself in such a way yet. Eventually maybe.

Anyway, after much thought, I kind of figured the most important bit is to just start blogging again right? Sharing thoughts etc with the world. So, seeing as I want to go down the free route for a wee while, I’m moving to blogger (which pains me a little because I do adore wordpress, but wordpress.com isn’t great on the customisation front in my humble opinion) and since I go by the name “Captain Magnets” (which is a minor variation on a nickname my best friend gave me) everywhere else, I figured I’d just use that. Basically, the new blog is at:

If any of you (blogging types especially) are feeling kind, updating your links would be appreciated! If not, ’tis no biggie because this here blog will remain up for a while at least (so you can peruse the archives). What else? Oh, if you happen to be one of the err.. 150ish RSS subscribers (it may not be massive in comparison to some bloggers, but I seriously do get shocked by that number – such an honour!) or 40ish BlogLovin’ readers, it’s all set up to a go go – Captain’s RSS feed here, Bloglovin here.
