My my, what a week so far! And it’s only Wednesday. Mentally preparing for going back to school is tougher than anyone thinks, well given that I detest my school (only this year left!) you can imagine the trauma I go through before starting back.

Today, my final day of holiday, I spent some time drawing and watching legally blonde again (something about it makes me want to work!). Mostly though, I have been tweaking bits of the layout and generally updating things. I have a brand new about page written, which now includes contact information at the bottom rather than on a separate page; I tweaked the layout of the links page so the buttons are at the side and I’m sure those who were watching noticed that the search bar has moved to the right of the navigation bar. All small tweaks I know, but I make them nonetheless. The search bar has a reason for moving actually - I am planning on making an attractive header logo for the top (940 by 150 - 200 px should anyone feel like designing something…) though my skills are lacking and I have no ideas as yet. Something will pop up one day and it’ll be a surprise for all of us!

In other news, I am planning on reopening the shop soon. I’ll give you more details on that closer to the time because it won’t be for at least a week or so. I can tell you that it’ll be a mixture of handmade and vintage items like we used to sell before this was a blog and I’ll be treating it like having a saturday job, so things actually get done! I am excited about this let me tell you.

Now, I am feeling extraordinarily tired so I think I may have a super duper early night! Catch you tomorrow kiddlings xx
