When some people think of the sixties, they think of hippies. When I think of the sixties, I tend to think of the the miniskirt, psychedelic colourful prints and mods. I stumbled upon these images on Bygone Fashion a while ago (posted a link on my tumblr blog) and adored them!

I think possibly my favourite though, was this one below. I suppose because since having my hair chopped off (it’s grown out a lot now though, but it was more bob-like before) I’ve gravitated toward shorter styles to see what I can do. I love this style and at some point I intend to try a variation of this on my head. Long hair is beautiful, but I don’t think I’ll have mine long again for a while!

Those are a snippet of some 60s inspiration I’ve been having recently. Though I must admit, I feel a 50s vibe sneaking up on me and think I need to do some investigation!
