Monday flavoured refresher

Monday, monday… don’t you just love the beginning of a new week? So many possibilities, experiences and memories to be had and created. And after a week of sitting idle in life, I think Monday calls for a fresh start… and a to-do list!

  • Sign up for an etsy seller account finally to kick start me into action
  • Create that dress from old lace curtains that I’ve been meaning to make
  • Visit all the art galleries in Birmingham
  • Do something in my sketchbook EVERY DAY
  • Try and finish any school work I have before the last week of August
  • Get my AS results on Thursday - then plan life accordingly!
  • Take a pattern from that vintage polyester dress I bought
  • Sign up again for my dressmaking class
  • Get my ear pierced again (slight whim so I’m not entirely sure, but I have been missing it recently)
  • Pay off any outstanding debt to friends
  • Apply for work experience
  • Do a photo shoot
  • Cut up old magazines and pin things to my style/craft inspiration board
  • Find old photos and put them on the life inspiration board
  • Watch a classic/old film at least once a week. Any suggestions?
  • Wake up early and go for a morning walk when the air is crisp
  • Start doing yoga again

I’m sure there are several other things that I would like to do at some point, but now it is late and it would probably be wise to sleep so I can cross “get a regular sleeping pattern” off my list. So that is what my life will be consisting of for the next few weeks… what do your to do lists look like?

it’s so nice to make a list, go you!! I wish you luck~

Hello! I’ve been a regular reader for quite a while but this is my first comment, I was just wondering where there are dressmaking classes available in Birmingham? I’m from Sutton Coldfield and the Adult Education Brochure ones all seem to be during the day which clashes with 6th form :/ x

I love making lists, such a great way to keep organised and motivated! It’s also one of my favourite things to do when boredom strikes. Mostly they are random but I love it when I have set goals and targets like your one here. :)

@ Lorelei & Jade: Ooh yes, I LOVE making lists! Now I just need to learn how to stick to them…

@ Rae: Sadly, there seem to be very few in Birmingham, but I’ll email you some details about the one I go to in Tamworth.

hope you got the results that you wanted! x
