Over the past week or so, I’ve noticed a mini-trend emerging - head decoration using hair bands. I say mini-trend, because I’m uncertain whether it’s one of those trends which exist solely amongst fashion bloggers (the kind which sweep like a fever amongst blogs, but you rarely see in the real world) or a trend which is little more widely spread… heck, trend or not, I am rather loving the hair bands I am seeing:

Now of course, the ones above are available for you to buy from Ban.do, but for the more crafty types, why not DIY it?! This is what I fully intend to do, much like the lovely Sally Jane here:

But honestly, of all the posts about head decoration I’ve seen, Love Forever has the best idea by far - head-dress party! This idea makes me excessively jolly because it combines DIY head-dress and a few friends. I think we should all be having a go!

And maybe we should - how about we have it as some kind of challenge for the next week? We can all create a hair band of our choosing, take a wonderful picture and then I can share some of them on the blog next week.
