A week in Devon

Greetings once again my dear readers! I am back in the land of the norm… well, as normal as you can get in Birmingham. Strictly speaking, I was back yesterday, but after several hours of train journey filled with some strange folk, I was exhausted!

Devon

Devon was “LUSH” as always. It started out with a beautiful weekend which was spent at the beach, kayaking, losing my glasses (had some spares luckily, but sadly they do not quite match up to the joy of the other ones :( I am going to ask vision express about insurance/replacements on monday though, we’ll see what happens) and in an array of nice dresses!

Wheat Buried
Field of wheat // Mary buried in the sand!

I met some of Mary’s new friends, which was lovely, except that I have an inability to speak to people I do not know. However, it was beneficial for me because I now realise that it is stupid to be like that and now vow to try a little bit harder to be myself from here on out. Toward the end of the week, it rained. I attempted to do some drawing again because I’ve done very little all year and am picking up AS art in September… practice makes me better though! So there is a brief update of my week, how were all of yours?

Some very lovely photos there indeed! And personally I think your drawings were very good, I liked the biro one (it was in biro, wasn’t it? the one of me asleep?)

that photo looks like so much fun!

that’s kinda gorgeous. i’ve never been to anywhere like that before. and i’ve definitely never seen actual wheat in my life.

oh and the last photo is so cute.
