Bygone, it’s not gone

As I’m sure you know, I am rather partial to vintage fashion (something which I am planning to research a little more soon). I’m also rather partial to photography. So combining the two, is a winning formula for me. Bygone Fashion is a site which is similar to Foto Decadent, but with the solely vintage photographs.

It’s been a while since I was a livejournal member (I suppose LJ was my first ever blog back when I was 13 and rambling about goodness knows what) but RSS is a magical invention which allows me to keep updated through Bloglines. Since yesterday, I’ve been slowly browsing the archives and so far have managed to complete all of 2008 (well, it is the shortest year so far) with the intention of looking through the others at a later date.

My style inspiration folder will be full by the end of my browsing antics, how about yours? Are you like me and find the aesthetics of both the photograph and the fashion more pleasing when it’s vintage? Or would you rather do something else?
