Latest finds: Secondhand delights
With my newly acquired secondhand/developing own style mindset, I decided to venture into town on Saturday. There, I went to the various vintage shops and with a slightly heightened sense of what I want, I managed to acquire a few new items.
Namely, a coat for £12 (a little big for me, but with several large jumpers, perfect for a chilly winter), a green beret for £5 and (the most expensive purchase) a pair of shoes for £25 (though they had a strange charm in a military/androgynous way about them).

(sorry, the lighting in my house is not great)
Anyhoo, it may not be the under £10 bargains you can get at some charity shops (that’s this weekend’s events - charity shop hunting), but I think it was money well spent. I’m shocked at the price of the coat, that was indeed a bargain (and in amazing condition). I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for more good stuff which I can add to the shop - I have a wish share the secondhand (& handmade) fever which is captivating me at the moment.
